Living 3G

Living 3 G

We finished the school year last Thursday with a fantastic final large group Bible study. It was amazing to hear the stories of seven students who are "getting out of Tech" (Lord willing!) this semester. They all shared how God had blessed them during their days at Georgia Tech. And we are all very excited about the wonderful opportunities they are being sent from our movements at Tech.

The last talk of the year was also the last talk that our director Trent McEntyre would give while serving as campus director for cru here at Tech. Fittingly he focused on three keys to "life without equal." It was a great reminder of the heart of the cru movements and what we all need to keep in mind as we finish the year,  and for some our time at Tech.

In order to live a life without equal, cru has always been passionate about three things, 3 Gs in this case:
Our need to be: 1. God Attentive 2. God Dependent and 3. God Attentive.

Trent took us to Revelation 1, Galatians 3 and 5, and 1 Thessalonians 1. Check out these passages for yourself and let us know if there is anything we can do to help you live 3G.

Grace to y'all! The GT cru staff - Trent, Greg,  Clay, Ali and Kate

Who else wants to be a more fruitful witness?

As soon as students get a taste of the truth and beauty of Jesus Christ they naturally want to tell others about Him. But most all Christians know that this deep down desire to be a fruitful witness for Christ has a counter-force. So whether it is the fear of the unknown or concern that our telling others about Christ will make sense, we all face real inertia. One of our jobs in making disciples is to help people overcome this inertia.

This semester we are offering two elective training times for students and anyone else in the community who wants to grow in their confidence in sharing the Gospel. The first is a basic training in personal evangelism on January 21st on the Tech campus. The second is an intermediate and cross-cultural training that will be held on February 24th at the Reformed Theological Seminary campus in Atlanta. More details are forth-coming.

In the mean time, please pray for us according to Ephesians 6:18-20 that we would present the Gospel boldly as we ought. Pray that we would be effective in motivating students to do the same.

Grace,

Trent for the GT cru team
